Four of Cups The Wild Unknown Tarot

Four of Cups, The Wild Unknown Tarot 2

Four of Cups The Wild Unknown Tarot

Absorbed in darkness, a rat rests atop four cups. Above him, a white light representing Pure Awareness & a crescent moon symbolizing intuition. Cups represent our emotional spectrum of being. Feelings, creativity, imagination, connections, love, and relationships with self and all of life. The rat is sitting on top of four cups being offered, but he is in the darkness. Four of Cups is asking if one is seeing what is here right now, or is one imagining themselves into the darkness? What are you not seeing that you already have? Are you being offered everything you need/want but cannot clearly see? This is a time that emotions are arising fiercely and a time to fully be present with them as they arise. When we take time to allow ourselves to feel what is, we will be able to truly see our present moment experience and all the beauty which is already present. In order for us to see our present moment reality we cannot ignore emotions that arise, we invite them in lovingly for they are wanting to be acknowledged. The invitation is to allow them to be felt fully and the being will naturally come into balance.

Sometimes we can miss the greatest gift that is with us all the time. We can wish or pine for things that are actually already here with us. When our mind and heart are divided we constantly see lack and that we do not have enough. When we are full of our own sweet nectar we see we aren’t missing anything and we are always divinely guided. We truly are seeing “outside” what we are “inside.” We don’t always want to say this is true because then we must take full responsibility for ourselves in a deep way. We can no longer blame outside sources for our suffering. In a way this is a great relief! Imagine if you had to fix everything outside of you?! What a freakin’ mess! Thankfully we have the opportunity to go inside ourselves and see where we hold resistance, be present with it and allow it to melt on its own accord. In one way we are responsible for the vibration we hold, but at the same time we see that all has been Grace sweeping through our house to show us the truth of our being, beyond limitations.

Four of Cups will come when there is dissatisfaction inside the being. One may feel as though there is something missing, or are not divinely guided. This feeling comes from an internal separation and cannot be satisfied by anything changed or shifted in the world. the change must come from our inner understanding. This can be a time where one has the urge to make drastic changes on the outside in order to feel differently. Four of Cups invites us to stay still. Before making any outside shifts in the outer world, take time to contemplate/reflect/meditate. Rest in your being and then see what changes occur naturally as you stay as awareness. The shifts that come from this space are always in alignment with your being. If one tries to change outside situation first, the internal peace will be temporary. Sooner or later the truth of dissatisfaction will present itself once again. We cannot avoid pain and conflict, we must face our darkness in order for any shifts to occur. We were built to have the capacity to hold space for this darkness. Four of Cups is an invitation to melt into your being and allow all actions to spring on their own natural accord.

The cups are here, abundance dripping all around. Somehow not being seen fully. There hasn’t been a full yes or full no to accept what life is presenting to you. There is a beauty being given to you because it matches your true vibration. Something within you is retreating out of fear. The invitation is that you are exactly where you need to be and you are being offered something rare and exquisite. You are on the right path, but you are blind because you are believing in doubts and fears instead of the truth of being. The cups are inviting you to drink from them and to trust life. Be fearless and say yes to what is here now. As we open fully to now, magic unleashes itself upon us. It has been here the whole time. As one resists, power is given to fears more than what is true. As you see through the nonsense you will see you are exactly where you need to be and your blackened cups will turn to liquid gold. When we see what is already present we stop taking life for granted and see the beauty in all that is.

Thank you! I’ve had some trouble with the Wild Unknown deck (I prefer more symbolism in my decks) but it’s so beautiful that I can’t keep myself away. I drew the Four of Cups this morning and was mystified by the image until I read your post. Your hard work is much appreciated!
