The white bird spans his wings of light above the darkness. Below him, bats are coming towards his light from the depths of the black abyss. The bird has no judgement for the darkness, he only invites the darkness to come towards the light. This bird embraces all who come from the darkness and the light.
Somethings magical occurs when we surrender judgement of ourselves. As we surrender our harsh judgements towards ourselves, judgements towards others also vanish. This leaves a great space within the being. There is a lightness that cannot be matched by anything else. It is the lightness of spirit that is felt because there is no longer empowerment of judgement towards self or “others.” When the judgement card is pulled the invitation is to ask, “Am I being to hard on myself? Am I being too hard on others? How does this make me feel?” There are times when we think being critical or judgmental towards others is helpful, but sometimes this assists in disempowering our brothers and sisters. The question that is invited is what is more true? Is it the darkness that you may see in someone else or the divinity of them that is the essence of their being? When we focus on the divinity in ourselves instead of criticizing the darkness, it is the divinity that is given space to expand instead of empowering all the problems. The more we tell someone that we believe in them, how much we love and trust them the more we see them bloom, expand, and embrace their beauty. Can we do this for ourselves and others? To allow divinity to dance instead of watching it wither away? Can we notice in ourselves when judgement arises? Are we putting ourselves and other beings down instead of lifting up? We can cultivate healthy judgement by focusing on the good in ourselves and in others. Not to ignore the dark aspects of creation, but to recognize the beauty that is here and see the darkness present is also assisting our expansion. To focus on getting “rid” of the darkness will empower it to rise. As we empower strengths in ourselves and others we will see how quickly a true confidence emerges. A confidence that is not “Oh look at me” but more like “Yes, I can be myself fully.”
As we investigate more deeply to see where our judgement comes from what can we find? This judgement is coming with a rejection of what is present. Trying to change or manipulate a situation instead of seeing the inherent lessons in all that is arising. If we see every problem that arises as an opportunity for growth and greater understanding, harsh judgement of self and others will drop away. Opportunity will be seen clear as day where once there was conflict and frustration. Before we go pointing the finger at someone, it’s a good idea to look in the mirror. Find out if what is being judged is actually about the other, or, is it about you? Many times we will find the conflict is coming from our own perspective and the irritation that is felt is a natural alarm system to check in with our way of seeing. We can ask is what I’m seeing truly a defect of another or are they simply mirroring a way that I am viewing myself? Everyone is free to be as they are. As we condemn others in their freedom, we condemn ourself.
The Judgement card can come when you are seeing clearly how your actions, words, thoughts, feelings, vibration, and all that you are is constantly determining and shifting the quality of your life. Perhaps at this time a veil has been lifted that you had no idea was present. You are seeing all of life in a very new and fresh way. This could be a time where self judgement has dissolved in a major way and you are seeing the inherent beauty in yourself and all of life. This can cause for your reality to change in very dramatic ways….and very quickly. The veil that has been lifted has put you in complete alignment with your purpose, your passions, your visions, and all is flowing in the most natural way. This happens as perception aligns with your heart and you fall into the arms of the unknown. All of this is happening through Grace. This is not something that one can force to happen. Life will unveil the mysteries as we trust and allow ourselves to be available. This is the majesty and the beauty of the divine unfolding. As we trust, life strips us naked of our false illusions and judgement. We begin to see with the eyes of pure spirit.
