Three of Swords, The Wild Unknown Tarot

Three of Swords The Wild Unknown Tarot
Three of Swords is bitter sweet. As painful of a time as it may be, it is an honest and transparent. All wondering, guessing, intuitive inquiring-but not quite understanding….All is crystal clear now. Painfully clear, but a great relief simultaneously. The card depicts three swords pointing downwards bound together by what looks like a mangled ribbon of blood dripping at the bottom. The background is blackened and grim behind the swords and the outer expanded energy is light. The light of truth has a way of revealing itself.
***
~Words that arise are Intuition, Avoidance, Truth Emerging, Pain, Acceptance, Choice, and Healing~
 ***
Within this raw and fresh discovery there is the inner knowing that one has already known all along, perhaps not the entirety of what has been revealed, but the feeling of something rumbling under the waters has been felt and unknown until now. This arises a deeper trust in what has been felt and a stronger and clearer connection with intuitive abilities. Strength of intuitive abilities can come and go, strengthening and weakening depending on our connection to our own being. As we go through experiences in life we are able to learn to trust ourselves and intuition can become more clear and refined. What has or is presently being revealed in ones current experience pushes the querent back into the heart of being ~ showing what was felt, is now confirmed. As hard of an experience this may be, immense strength and internal power will rise from what has been experienced.
 ***
When avoidance is present in subtle or gross levels this leaves room for untruths to remain within the experience. Three of Swords is a great reminder that when something is felt intuitively there are times when it is important to inquire and acknowledge what is arising within ones own being. If we ignore the messages our body and internal systems are signaling, we are denying aspects our being that are trying to communicate. As we allow these messages to fully come through, we honor our spirit and strengthen our internal guidance system. If we avoid what is arising we can sever our own energetic cords, which in their natural state has the ability to work with us in harmony. The invitation here is to listen deeply and not fall into avoidance of what is showing itself.
 ***
As the truth of what has been felt emerges into full understanding, whether it be from oneself, another, or environment it may almost feel like, oh…of course. Because all along there was the internal knowing before the truth was revealed. Although it is no surprise on one hand, there is still pain to be felt from the experience and to be held in loving space. As we feel the pain as it comes we are allowing it to be seen and acknowledged within the being so it can be felt, healed, and not be stored as trauma~only to be brought up again later. Now is the time to be with this pain in whatever way one goes into their being for healing. Each one of us process, feel, and heal in different ways. There are infinite ways for this and not a right or wrong way. Processing has nothing to do with avoidance and there are some cases where a masking of a problem can temporarily feel like healing, but it is simply stored and will arise again. Whatever allows you to be with the presence of your own being will be healing. Sitting in meditation is a very simple way to get in touch and tune inside. Meditation is not the only way as we are infinite in the ways which we move. Allow your being to naturally be drawn to what feels most organic.
 ***
Painful experiences give us the opportunity to push us in ways that break down old cycles and ways of being. In many ways stripping away illusions and leaving us raw with no where to cling or grasp onto in the physical world. The pain has the opportunity to draw us inside, to fill our own cup, and to strengthen our trust within our self before relying on any-thing or anyone. Teaching us to live from the inside out. Being, giving, trusting, loving, from our expansion. When what we cling to crumbles, we are left inside with the power of our natural being to move, navigate, love, create, and be in harmony with existence. We become more open and raw and we do not deny any aspect of ourselves but dive in fearlessly that which wishes to be seen, felt, and heard. Sometime we may dive in with fear, but either way excited to dive in or fearful to do so, one is not ignoring what is arising but open to what wishes to be seen. When that which arises is dark it is not to be avoided and shamed, but to be seen, explored, loved, and accepted. There is no precise guide or map. With the presence of our own being we encompass the energy of the moon and the sun which does hold the aspects of shadow and the light. Our being becomes more integrated instead of staying on one side or another. There is depth in ones being with the willingness to look. The feeling “I don’t want to go there” simply because it is a heavier aspect of being will be noticed as avoidance and a deeper trust emerges to go within. The humanness and divinity of our being are making friends.

Son of Swords, The Wild Unknown Tarot

Son of Swords The Wild Unknown Tarot

Son of Swords has tremendous focus and determination for what he desires to see manifest in his life. Some will view him as obsessed or overly ambitious. Son of Swords sees his movements as a fulfilling way to see something through to completion.  He is flying on his sword fiercely, with intense power in one direction and one direction only. He is not on the fence about his quest, but completely throwing himself in without fear. He sees only plan A, no plan B. There are those in his life who will disagree with this seemingly narrow way of moving, but this compulsion to move so confidently in one direction he cannot deny.  This is the temperament of his being and he’s riding the wave. Those who wish to agree or disagree may do so freely, he will continue on his journey with high momentum and not lose sleep over opinions.

There are risks and challenges which will show up and confront him along his journey. The Son of Swords seems to disregard all of these future possibilities of failure. His attitude is “I will cross that bridge when it comes.” He does not see dangerous territory he only sees the way he needs to move in his freedom, he is not fearful of may or may not come. There is a pure creative force driving the Son of Swords. He surrenders to the force which is moving him in galaxy strides throughout the cosmos. Where once there was so much resistance within him, now he has surrendered to this grace which has always been guiding him.

Wherever the focus of attention the Son of Swords has put his being towards, there will be great success. There will also be intense learning experiences that are highly challenging because of the nature of his bold movements. In one way it speeds up his learning because of constant challenges that arise which stretch his being. His nature to never play it safe or remain comfortable is always expanding his being. Although his attitude is strong and swift towards his goal, he must be cautious of not rushing. He can still move fiercely with determined and excited power, but he must be aware of the quality of his flight. It is wise for him to be in alignment with each step toward his goal. Not to be so fixed on the end goal but to see each moment as the end goal while he moves toward the bigger picture. The Son of Swords will be misunderstood by those close to him, but the force which moves him is one he trusts greater than the opinions of others. The invitation is to allow the momentum to naturally propel one into the direction you are presently moving. Stay mindful of trying to get anywhere other than where you are, allow your vision to be present and not one which may bind your spirit in time. All tools, resources, and experience are here with you now. When we move with love this will be reflected in the goal. If “the end” is more important than now this will be detrimental to this incredible sharp and present focus of the Son Swords. Fully be in each moment and allow your creativity to seep out of your pores like magic. As you move in this way you will not be fueling your goal with a nervous energy but one that is full, whole, and complete. Your momentum is strong now. Allow it to flow, but do not race or force it. Fully embrace the natural flow that is already moving you.

Five of Swords, The Wild Unknown Tarot

Five of Swords The Wild Unknown Tarot

Five of Swords represents self destruction. A worm or parasite has been cut in half. The “ugly” has come to the surface and self-destructive patterns are coming out of hiding. Patterns are being noticed and looked at more closely than ever before. Where once things could have been set aside or taken lightly, one is now feeling the heaviness of their own self imposed limitations. Although this seems to be a card one wishes to flip over and redraw…it is the perfect opportunity to look at any patterns that are arising and break the ongoing cycle. Reoccurring events that happen in ones life which drain power are dropping hints to navigate in a different way. This could be honest communication with self/others, a carelessness that is effecting you and “other” beings in your life. This can be a number of things which one is acting upon that is not alignment with your integrity. This can arise as something small that grows into a mighty parasite that feeds off you. Five of Swords has been cut, which means whatever this is which is draining energy, it has been exposed. This dark aspect is now out in the open and you are witnessing and acknowledging it instead of ignoring. So although a morbid card the upside is one is actually seeing what has been leaking out energy.

Five of Swords invitation is to identify where this energetic leak seems to be happening and to address it. There are some things by themselves that seem to drop away effortlessly. However, whatever is present now is asking for acknowledgement. This gentle way of seeing and holding space for this to arise will allow it to be released. Some patterns are deeply rooted within us, but we can choose to stop identifying with them and release our grip of  identity. You are vast and limitless being, never bound by anything in particular. We alone hold ourself hostage by repeating patterns that no longer serve us. As we inquire into our patterns we can see easily how they are fueling our identification to a certain state of being. We are allowed to give up old stories to allow what is true in the present moment to shine through. We weaken and age ourself on many levels by hanging on to old broken stories about our idea of who we are. Sometimes we do this because we are afraid of the immensity our own freedom. It can be scary at first to feel so open, without identifications to people, stories, wounds, events, etc. On the other side of our self destructive tendencies there is infinite space and possibility, all the magic is present. So whatever pattern is being witnessed now is being seen as it is being kicked out the door. Grace is moving all.

Five of Swords represents defeat. The kind of defeat that must be acknowledged and through this defeat one will rise again stronger than ever. Defeat sounds depressing, but in fact this is exactly what is needed to happen for you to realign with natures harmonic rhythm. There is nothing lost here, only lessons that have been learned. Through ones own experiences and defeats we listen more intuitively in ways we wish to move. We start developing a deeper trust with ourself and our voice. We see we cannot ignore what is felt inside and we align again with our natural movement.

Eight of Swords, The Wild Unknown Tarot

Eight of Swords The Wild Unknown Tarot

A butterfly, tightly wrapped in itself hangs from a sword. She is surrounded by seven swords which are not touching her, but if she opens her wings would tear her to pieces. It appears there is no way of expanding. The butterfly is stuck and unable to open her wings in fear of what may happen. The energy of the card is frozen and unable to make any movement. The Butterfly cannot see as she is hidden within herself and this does not allow for even the slightest movement keeping her where she is. What is it that keeps the butterfly bound? Surely, there is a way to expand. What is keeping her from finding a way? Her sight is showing to be completely blinded keeping her immobile and fragile.

The Eight of Swords is inviting one to look at the current experience from a different angle, because the current way of seeing isn’t making any progress. Any feeling of being the victim of experience is what will keep one bound not allowing movement within the being or the mind to see other possible solutions for current experience. There cannot be any healthy movement when the belief of victimhood is at play. We remain blinded to the possibility of numerous options for ourselves. If there is a feeling of being stuck there is surely a victim role playing that is inhibiting one from seeing clearly and choosing a healthy option from the infinite options that are always available. It is only when we have created self imposed limitation that we feel as though there is no way out. Before taking any action we most remove our blindfold that keeps us small and limited so we can take right action and not action based on our perceived limitations.

There is a powerlessness present with the Eight of Swords. No where to move, no where to go. This is an illusion that has created a self imposed prison. There is no savior that can come from the outside to carve the way for us. This is a time acknowledge illusions and see how they have been at play. When these are seen one can step back into their own power and activate once again right choice and action from a healthy space. We always have choices and we always have options. When we feel stuck we have given up our power to an outside source. This is a time pay attention and to not ignore what is going on. Time to step into oneself acknowledging what has been ignored, neglected, or murdered certain aspects of self and regain strength once again. This will open up what has been a closed box and bring the breath of life, choice, right action, and vibrancy into being. It is a powerful time because coming out of this one will see they can never give up their power in this way again. As negative as this card feels it is truly a powerful time of immense transformation and growth when seeing through the veils of self imposed illusion.

As one becomes honest and transparent with what the current experience, this will open many doors. When we truly want to see our experience for what it is we will be able to see how our actions gave birth to our present moment experience. We are constantly saying yes and no to life which is opening doors and closing others. What is it that you would like to say yes and no to within your experience? Sometimes we can allow things into our life that isn’t healthy for our well being. When this happens this is how we learn to say no instead of yes. We are constantly learning, growing, and changing what we will allow into our lives as we mature. The Eight of Swords is saying be honest with yourself and allow what is healthy for you to be of high value. If you are being faced with a choice or a new transition in life allow what you value to be held highly so you do not entrap yourself in situations or experiences that are out of alignment with your values. There are no closed doors here even if it may seem that way. This is simply a time for realigning your values, honoring them and not settling for anything less. Allow your actions and movements to be honored by what you value most highly, and do not allow yourself to be swayed by those who oppose you. As ones heart is sincere and always open to learning and growing there will be others who do not agree with you. Let those who do not value what you value fall away and allow life to bring those that are in alignment with you to be by your side. At the end of each day if we feel we are making choices with honor and respecting ourselves and all of life as a whole, we cannot go wrong. Now is the time for a deep checking in and profound honesty with oneself.

Six of Swords, The Wild Unknown Tarot

In the darkness the Six of Swords are jumbled together. Above the darkness is a beautiful rainbow and pure light above. Daunting and bright simultaneously the Six of Swords is revealing that times have been testing and hard, but a great deal has been learned during this time to navigate in a new way and into the light. There has been trauma and pain experienced. This has led to a clearer sight of the direction to move in, but the there is some healing to undergo as one moves in a new direction. What experience is it time to move through or move away from completely? It may be a love relationship, a reoccurring self-sabotaging pattern, or anything that has caused more pain than joy. How can this experience be seen for what it is so one can move in greater alignment? One will either find a great ease and shift within the experience, or choose to completely leave the situation. It ain’t easy, but the newfound understanding will lead to more insight and a clearer path. Its a pretty exciting time for this newfound clarity and movement.

The hardship that one has experienced may still be fresh inside the being. Even through the pain the Six of Swords invitation is to have trust in oneself through this time. We are always deeply cared for throughout the highs and lows. The invitation is to trust even more deeply and to move with what you know is healthy and true for yourself and your path. This is not a time to be influenced by what others may think, but to take into account everything you have experienced and what you will and will no longer accept in your field. There are times when what we have experienced has been painful, but also necessary for our growth and understanding of what is and is not acceptable. This is the time to take the highest road that only you in your heart can know.

Whether the hardship has been in business/creativity/love relationships/family life there is a big shift now. One has all the information needed to move forward to a new level of beauty in life. All the pieces of the puzzle are on the table. The use of logic as well as the intuition are equally important now. There are some times where we have the answers immediately and know what to do, this brings about swift and organic movement. With this card there has been some delay in what to do and with this has caused some temporary confusion. The invitation is to take a seat, feel and think the situation through and use both left and right side of your brain to go to town with this one. Look at what has been in front of you and look at the direction you want to go. Are you headed that way fully? If you are, that means that much has already been resolved. If you are not headed in the direction of most intimate alignment with yourself then now is the time to choose. Tick Tock. The time is now. There will be great relief with forward movement. Trust in yourself and your ability to choose the right action for your spirit to blossom even more beautifully. No need to doubt your decision. Everything is in front of you. All the messages in plain sight and through dreamtime have been clear.

Daughter of Swords, The Wild Unknown Tarot

the wild unknown tarot daughter of swords meaning and interpretation

The Owl, perched atop a black sword. Starry night sky glowing behind.

//The Daughter of Swords pierces through illusion. The owl sees through the game of fear and the strong sense of false identification of self. The daughter of swords can see through illusion and rests in being. If we are identifying ourselves with fear, we willingly give our power to an invisible ghost. Fears that arise within are internal responses that are created by the false self appearing real. These fears that have been nurtured and protected gain strength each time we bow down to their force. We have to ask ourself if we giving our power to fear? Or, are we remaining as the truth of who we are and allowing ourself to move through the arising fear? When we release our control on “how we think things should be,” fear falls away more easily as the light of our being shines through. Daughter of Swords reminds us that we cannot protect what is false, because it is not in accordance to the natural unfolding of life. We are pure spirit and we feel this more prominently when we align with the universe to move through us naturally. The owl is perched on the sword of truth. When this sword is felt in its utter simplicity it cuts through all imagined stories and beliefs//

//Although the Owl is perched on top of the sword she is not the protector of it. She simply rests in this space and moves with grace. Daughter of Swords recognizes when pain comes, it is a gift, inviting us to look where the pain is coming from and to feel into this depth fully. Sitting in the silence of our own being we can allow all pain to arise and every other emotion that is asking to be seen. As we give ourself honest space to feel, we are automatically addressing anything within that wishes for recognition. This allows immense healing to take place, as nothing is being ignored or denied. Daughter of Swords is a reminder to look within and not ignore the natural signals of the emotional, mental, physical, or energetic bodies. All of these aspects are working for us to guide us. As we honor ourself and take the time to be with what is arising we are continuously creating a safe and receptive space within ourself to deepen our relationship and connection within.  We are not meant to ignore painful experiences when they arise. The more attuned we are to our own being the more intimately we will know as something arises which needs attention. Whatever is experienced, it is seen that these are old phantoms leaving the body, ready to go as recognition takes place. There is a great allowance for darkness to arise when we see it is simply energy arising and give it permission to be and transform. The play of light and dark are working in harmony to discover new depth within our being. This contrast is essential to being alive, the longer we are here the more gratitude arises for the divine play. If we only had pleasant experiences we would have no depth to our character.  It is when we begin condemning what is happening in our experience that we feel tremendous constriction and pain.  When we remember the play of dark and light are both working to stretch us and allow us to discover, we ebb and flow with greater ease//

//This card is the embodiment of authenticity. The stream of life is asking you to surrender to the highest. This is a natural movement of Grace. The Daughter of Swords asks, “Are you embodying truth, or are you shying away from your natural movements? Life is here to experience the divinity that we are, which means stepping into our highest roles that we all intuitively know and feel within. We do know which way to move and navigate, but are we listening? This divinity encompasses all beings that are here, but it can be scary because many times we realize we have been siding with that which cripples us more than truth of our being. In each moment with each interaction with self, another, at work, walking down the street, in the car, nature, and anywhere we are ~ we are consistently given the opportunity to be in our heart or shy away. There are a multitude of ways which we hide and which we show up for life. Daughter of Swords asks how are you showing up everyday in life, for yourself and all those who you encounter? “
